Gerina-Piller
She was born on March 29 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is American and is of Mexican American heritage. Since her early years the desire for her to be active in sports was strong. Gerina started playing golf at the age of 15. Gerina went to Goddard High School. In high school she won New Mexico's state golf championship. Along with volleyball, she competed on an official level. She was enrolled at Texas's University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. In the final seasons of her professional career, she had won every tournament where she played. While in her university career, she was crowned Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named UTEP Female Athlete Of The Year.
