Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her lead roles in a variety of television shows and for her enthralling performances in movies. Her popularity is shared by both Canadian and American television. Emily's interest in acting began in the year 12, she went to visit their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. When she realized her love in acting, she began taking acting classes and went for auditions. After a few successful commercials she was soon cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You scared of Dark? In the show, she appeared in just one scene without any dialog. She got her first big breakthrough at 15 when she was cast as a regular on Glory Days, a WB show Glory Days. Emily's performance in the WB show Glory Days, which was canceled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily has also been a professional dancer also a photographer, and was named among the top 20 Teen's actresses. Emily was listed as at number 51 in Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
