Allison Brooks Janney is an American actor from the United States. She is known for her roles on stage and screen. In addition, she's been nominated for 2 Tony Awards and has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Allison Janney was a regional actor for more than a quarter of a century before she became well known as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg in the wildly popular and highly acclaimed drama on television The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney, a long-time late bloomer, has always had a bad time.
